Circa 1881

An important unusual Gorham antique sterling engraved moon vase with the 1881 date letter. The opening and base have cast Japanese influenced applications and the body is engraved on the sides, frfont and back with delicate floral motifs. Marked clearly on the base with the Gorham logo. The surface has a satin finish throughout.
